Booking Terms and Conditions
Payment must be made in full prior to the commencement of any single day, residential or post processing workshop.
For Weekend workshops, a deposit of £72 is required within 5 days of making the booking to secure your place with the balance being due no later than 28 days prior to the event. If the booking is made less than 28 days prior to the event the full fee is due at the time of booking.
For residential workshops a deposit of 50% of the course fee will be required within 5 days of making the booking. The remaining balance will be due 8 weeks prior to the workshop commencement. If full payment is not received by the specified date, I reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled and re-sell the place, the deposit is not refundable. If a booking is made less than 8 weeks prior to the beginning of the residential workshop, the full cost of the workshop is payable at the time of booking.
The payment of the deposit and your place on your desired workshop will be confirmed by us, by email along with a receipt of payment. On receipt of your final payment, you will receive additional communication detailing the joining instructions for your chosen workshop.
If a client has to cancel a booking any money they have paid (including the deposit) is non-refundable unless a replacement is found to take their place. If a replacement is found an administration fee of £30 will be deducted and all other monies will be refunded in full. If I have to cancel a booking for any reason, any payment received will be refunded in full in a timely manner. For residential workshops, Travel Insurance is essential and please ensure this is adequate for your needs. As part of the contract between us, you are contractually obliged to obtain appropriate travel insurance before departure. The insurance must cover you for loss, expenses and damages arising from, including but not limited to, the cancellation of the workshop (whether in whole or in part), personal accident and injury, medical and repatriation costs, loss of baggage, personal money and belongings, flight cancellations and delays.
Neither of us are liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from any cause that is beyond the reasonable control of that party. Such causes include, but are not limited to: industrial action, civil unrest, fire, flood, storms, earthquakes, acts of terrorism, epidemic/pandemic, acts of war, governmental action or any other event that is beyond the control of the party in question. If the delay continues for a period of 90 days, either of us may terminate or cancel the Services to be carried out under these Terms and Conditions.
Our liability under these Terms and Conditions, and in breach of statutory duty, and in tort or misrepresentation or otherwise, shall be limited as set out in this section.
The total amount of our liability is limited to the total amount of fees payable by you under the Contract.
We are not liable (whether caused by our employees, agents or otherwise) in connection with our provision of the Services or the performance of any of our other obligations under these Terms and Conditions or the quotation for: any indirect, special or consequential loss, damage, costs, or expenses or; any loss of profits; loss of anticipated profits; loss of business; loss of data; loss of reputation or goodwill; business interruption; or, other third-party claims; or any failure to perform any of our obligations if such delay or failure is due to any cause beyond our reasonable control; or any losses caused directly or indirectly by any failure or your breach in relation to your obligations; or any losses arising directly or indirectly from the choice of Services and how they will meet your requirements or your use of the Services or any goods supplied in connection with the Services.
Residential workshops are based on single occupancy and rooms will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Double or Twin room are for single occupancy unless you have booked as a couple and will be allocated on arrival. There is no single occupancy supplement.
Iain Jack Photography reserves the right to cancel any planned workshop. Should the need to cancel arise, I will offer either a total refund or a place on an alternative workshop. If the alternative, is cheaper, I will refund the difference, however, if it is more expensive, you will be required to pay the balance.
All workshop participants do so at their own risk and Iain Jack Photography accepts no responsibility or liability for injury or damage done to their persons or property.
The outline workshop descriptions must be taken as an indication/guide of what may take place on the workshop, and not as a contractual obligation. Iain Jack Photography will do its best to stick to the outlined itinerary where possible but this may need to change at short notice subject to, but not exclusively, to events outside of there control such as weather conditions and/or capability of the workshop participants.
Iain Jack Photography do not take any responsibility or liability for death, bodily injury or illness caused to you, unless arising from the negligent act and/or omission on our part or on the part of any of my employees (providing they were at the time acting within the course of their employment).
By completing the booking form you are agreeing to accept all of the above conditions.
These Terms and Conditions apply to the provision of photographic services detailed in our advertised workshops by Tarleton World of Wines Limited, T/A Iain Jack Photography, a company registered in England and Wales under number 06214872.

Should your booking have to be cancelled by either party due to coronavirus flight or travel restrictions all my workshops are eligible for a refund. In the event of the accommodation not being cancellable you will be reimbursed the tuition fees.
Should any Coronavirus restriction be imposed by the UK Government on any daily workshops resulting in cancellation. Iain Jack Photography will offer either an alternative date or a full refund as applicable
